The Card of the Week gives an overall theme to help kick in extra layers of meaning around the card of the day.  Use it as a pair of night vision goggles to help clarify what’s been out of focus or shadowed.

This Week: Ten of Bows

Ten of BowsThe ten is a powerful card indeed – a one to the tenth degree!  Step by step you set the example when you take responsibility for what is unfolding, give your attention to the task at hand and what you can or must do.  This ten says,  I am capable and will show you how much I accomplish with what I’ve been given.  It’s the trumpet shout of real daring that leads to great achievement by your own effort and commitment.  What a week ahead, my friend.  The fiery suit of bows represent vision – go forth boldly and inspire great things!

Card Of The Day:  This information does not decide anything for you my friend.  It simply gives you additional insight to help shape the story you tell yourself about whatever is happening.  Play with it, let in inspire.  Lisa pulls from many different Tarot Decks for her interpretation but the images in this post are from the always beloved Wildwood Tarot Deck.

Monday – Seven of Bows

Seven of BowsWell today it’s about cleaning mental house, mending busted beliefs and trusting you are on higher ground than you think you are.  You help the old and outworn ideas pass peacefully on when you mentally clear out the clutter and purposefully attend the new beliefs that require your attention.

Take Action:  Everything around you is aiding in the process, so don’t fight the day!  Instead lean into it to get yourself ready to rock and roll.
Tuesday – Knight of Stones

Knight of PentaclesThis fine steed is the certainty of progress, slow and steady, pushing ahead at a measured pace that gets the job done.  It often means there is a shift in money coming, upward momentum.  But money is just one form of security.  This says trust your way, like the march of seasons means that the cold winter will give way to the warmth of spring,  know you will arrive!  You are moving in a more secure direction so persevere, stay on course with a combination of patience and timing.

Take Action:  Take stock of how far you’ve come, it helps to remember and give yourself credit that you are long out of the starting gate and closer to the finish line, even if you aren’t there yet!

Wednesday- Three of Arrows

Three of ArrowsOuch, bumpy day my friend.  Forewarned is forearmed, though.  There may be delays or disappointment today.  Often this one comes up to get us to let go of a ‘single right possibility’ and open us up for more.  But first it’s just frustration, grief and some yuck – although most of it’s mental pain!  The up side is the stories in our minds cause us far more grief than the facts, so notice where the story you tell yourself is more harsh than it needs to be.

Take Action: Be sweet to you today.  You might need it and certainly can use it.  Be kind to you…

Thursday – Ten of Vessels

Okay, no kidding, I laid out the cards for the whole month and this is the card that came up for you today.  This is the ‘Happily Ever After’ card.  Know you are loved, you feel connected and remember you are alive to celebrate life and love and happiness in one of the richest countries in the world!  Whatever makes you feel good today, is the BEST celebration.  FEEL THE LOVE. I’m heading for rutabagas.  Yes, rutabagas are my happiness!

Take Action:  Make a mental list of how many people have been kind to you this past year and in how many ways.  Include where the Universe has surprised you with unexpected little moments, connections or opportunities.  I guarantee you, if you stop, pause and ask to remember you’ll get a couple that you may have forgotten!

Friday – Six of Vessels

Six of VesselsOh this is a sweet card indeed!  Prepare for heartfelt connections that heal.  Don’t get stuck on how you ‘think’ it should look.  Let the love in good memories, old friends, even sense memory of happy past events flood your senses.  There is love here for you, so much love that helps a bruised and weary heart heal.

Take Action:  Tell someone a favorite memory from childhood – one that makes you feel just delicious to recall.  Do share…and feel how good it feels to remember.

Saturday – Ten of Stones
Woof – this is the Karma card, my friend.  It separates the past from the future by saying right now, here in the present, you own how truly solid the life you are creating actually is.  You have a safe place in your heart that knows the where you belong, with your people, living the life that is meant for you – trust this is real.  If things in your life don’t line up with that statement, be still and follow a feeling of ‘home’, in your heart to help you open the door and possibilities to your given life.  Do not settle for anything less than saying you are home in your heart and follow bravely where that feeling takes you.  For there you will be home…inside and out!

Take Action:  TAKE FIVE MINUTES with you hand on your heart and feel your way home.  It’s more than geography – it’s the solid faith in yourself that has you heading for it like those pigeons that know how to return.  Trust your choices, trust your life and celebrate your arrival!

Sunday – Eight of Vessels

Eight of Vessels
Rebirth my friends!  The eights always mean that what you put out to the world will meet you somewhere up ahead on the path.  This is the Phoenix rising from the ashes where what you thought was an ending was really only changing form.  You no longer fit in the ‘old’ ways, so feel your way into the new.  It’s awe inspiring to see how intricately woven the bits of the past can be worked into the present with beauty.  Life can make Art out of the debris of past relationships, choices, mistakes even.  Let your Art reveal itself in the rebirth.  Ahhhhhhhhhhh

Take Action:  Give yourself a ritual to celebrate what is gone and let it transform into the beginning of…whatever your rebirth is!  Do share, this one can be leaving a bad habit behind that has transformed into a new self care regimen, or a mean story in your head about you that’s been replaced with a much snappier version of what’s true now!
