4/27 The ‘Messy” Taurus New Moon

This New Moon walks us right into the mess and peels our hands from our eyes so we can see it. Because you can’t clean what you won’t look at, right?

I’ve felt it creeping across my shoulders for over ten days now—this thick tension that change brings. Even when I traveled to the jungles of Peru for the first time, I was stunned by how chaotic true nature is. The wild wasn’t polished. It wasn’t curated. It was tangled, alive, and unapologetically messy.

As a gardener, I’ve always favored a “wild” garden but with covert structure—planned, neatened and refreshed, season after season. I also find comfort in opening a drawer or a cupboard and seeing order behind it. But this New Moon says, “Nope. That’s not the medicine right now.” We are being asked to build our tolerance for mess.

Dr. Becky Kennedy’s video on “The Learning Space” went viral  because resonates loudly here: that the space of “not knowing” can feel like an unbearable chaos—until clarity lands. We’re living in that liminal space right now, in countless ways.

Since Pluto entered Aquarius, it’s been highlighting the power of each individual’s contribution to the collective. The Capricorn model of centralized achievement—where a few lead and define success—gives way to a more equitably distributed tapestry. Everyone’s “win” counts. But that’s going to look chaotic at first.

Your individual discovery path IS the process – and adds to the richer, greater whole no matter how imperfect. We don’t need one person’s contribution copied and contributed over and over again.  Because if you’re still trying to mimic someone else’s blueprint, it’s going to throw off the ultimate beauty. Besides, what looks like their success doesn’t guarantee your success. (Spoiler: It never really did.).  It just keeps trying to recycle rotting material.

We saw this when Pluto first moved through Capricorn—think the financial crisis of 2008. What we opted for didn’t actually fix the root problem. We just papered over it with new packaging. That kind of delay tactic only postpones the reckoning. The mess still waits to be seen.

But let’s bring it back to you.

This New Moon in Taurus—a sign known for comfort, embodiment, and sensual grounding—arrives on the heels of a Mars-Pluto opposition, which followed a tense fixed-sign T-square with Mars, Pluto, and the Taurus Sun. Translation? Doing what seems secure may actually be the least secure thing you can do.

Instead, it’s time to fortify your internal foundation. Think of this moment as a cosmic check-in: what’s in your personal resilience kit? Do you have people who listen deeply—who ask questions rather than dispense advice? Practices like EFT (tapping) can help calm your nervous system and bring your awareness back to the present moment when survival-mode loops try to run the show.

What helps you live with the uncomfortable ‘not knowing’ outcomes?  It’s time to learn more of how to risk decisions from an authentic you and not a conditioned response to ensure you successfully ‘belong’.   It’s increasingly a time to stand OUT by being the accumulated life experiences of you, and what they taught you, whatever it looks like.  (By all means, you want to bring your best self, but that doesn’t mean perfect.  Rather you want to be accountable for what you do and learn from mistakes)

I’ll say it again, like a loving broken record: slow down. When we rush, we default to muscle memory—and muscle memory wants to do what it’s always done. But life is different now. The data field around you is expanding. Your intuition, your body, your heart—they’re picking up signals that your habitual mind can’t yet process. It takes stillness to listen.

I feel this tension in my bones. As someone trained to “know”—to keep myself and those I guide safe—this space of not knowing used to feel like a betrayal of my purpose. But now? Now it feels like liberation. Because I’m not alone in the unknown. I’m part of something larger. And together, we’re learning to get it right—without needing to be right.

Suddenly, I want to go back to the jungle and fall in love with the rotting trees and the muddy ant castles that cling to bark like organic tumors. What if beauty wasn’t about polish, but about presence? What if your perfectly imperfect process was its own masterpiece?  I’m not going to lie, it’s uncomfortable.  I’m trained to be someone who knows.  Like Pavlov’s dogs, it’s my automatic response to any situation. If you ask, I may tell you how I’m unlearning my bad habit of side seat driving.  But it’s also exciting…

This New Moon invites you to examine where your need to “know” and your craving for a glossy, curated life has become a limitation.  Where has security become a weight that is less about safety and more about limitations.   What joy, what creativity, what intimacy waits just beyond your tolerance for uncertainty?  You are better at it than you know….

Abundance lives there. Not in the outcome, but in the capacity to stay present with whatever emerges.

Quantum Tarot: The Inner Tapestry

Let’s take a breath with the cards that came through:

  • Mind // Justice – Your perception is recalibrating. What you used to judge as “right” or “wrong” is dissolving into a quantum web of nuance and relational truth. This card reminds us that balance doesn’t come from external rules—it emerges from honest reflection and a willingness to include the full spectrum of our experience.

  • Body // King of Wands – Your body wants bold leadership—but not the old patriarchal model. Think embodied sovereignty. Can you move like someone who trusts the life force within them, even when the path looks murky?

  • Heart // Ten of Pentacles – Stability and legacy arrive through connected hearts, not solo wins. This card pulses with the reminder that emotional wealth comes from shared roots, long vision, and honoring the ancestors—both literal and energetic—who walk with you.

  • Spirit // Judgement – The call is unmistakable. Your spirit is asking you to rise—not above the mess, but through it. To let go of outdated narratives and answer the deeper truth that’s stirring now. You’ve been training for this.

Quantum theory tells us we live in a participatory universe. Reality is not fixed—it responds to observation, intention, and resonance. These cards reflect that beautifully. The chaos isn’t failure. It’s feedback. It’s the dance of infinite potential, waiting for your conscious collaboration.

Benediction: For the Wild Within You

May you meet the mess without shame.
May you find order in the rhythm of your breath.
May the jungle within you teach you to love the rotted log
as much as the blossom.
May you know your knowing
by standing faithfully in the unknown.
And may your hands stay open
to receive the wild grace
of what’s still becoming.

P.S.  Speaking of creativity, Mike Lacey is involved in his musical at a week long workshop.  Which means he hasn’t had time to do the research for the daily forecast.  Let us know if you miss it and want to bring it back next time.  We create to serve, not  just to be seen.

Wishing you well, always!!
